My classroom is 3rd grade and is in the heart of East Tennessee. We recently became a Title I school, meaning our free/reduced lunch rates have increased enough to qualify us for additional government funding.

Do you have to make a list to keep up with things? Or write something down just to make sure you've got it? Students do too!

We need 25 daily math journals (think spiral notebooks) that have pre-printed problems on them. The students do three problems a day, then carry the journal with them all year as a reminder of what they've learned!

Your generosity will help my students apply basic math skills to every day situations. Gone will be the days of hearing them say, "I don't remember how to do it" or "We've never done that!" They can simply flip back in their journals to find an example. It will help with homework and retention of facts!
