My Science students need 30 sets of safety goggles, a telescope, 4 Space Sand Classroom Kits and 2 Solar System Activity Tubs.

What in the world is out in space! We want to know! I am a teacher of the Gifted students in grades Kindergarten - 5th. I serve approximately 55 students throughout each week. Our theme for the upcoming school year will be Space Exploration.

Funds are limited for our Gifted program which decreases the accomplishments for the students. They are very interested in space exploration and would benefit greatly from various hands-on activities.

I will need material to provide opportunities for hands-on instruction such as space sand, eye-goggles, a telescope, and activity kits. Through active participation, the students will be more successful consequently raising student achievement.

Space is such an abstract concept and one that the students are extremely excited about learning. With your help, they will be able to explore concepts necessary for their understanding of our universe.
