I teach 22 very excited and motivated fifth grade students. My students love learning and accomplishing new skills. My school is a high need school, but it does not stop me from doing my best to provide the most enriched education possible for my students. Nor does it stop my students from putting forth their best.

An obstacle we face at our school is the lack of funds for technology. We use what we have, but it really is not enough. We need more technology to provide our students with the most up to date information in the best way possible. My students love learning about new concepts. There are so many things I want to teach them and do with them, but I can't, because I lack the technology to do so. They miss out on many demonstrations and educational activities because they cannot all see at the same time what I am demonstrating or the activity we are doing. This is very time consuming, as I have to repeat many activities and demonstrations over and over until everyone gets an opportunity to participate and see what is going on.

An LCD projector would eliminate this obstacle. All of the demonstrations and activities will be in full view for all of the students to see and participate in. My students will also now have an opportunity to demonstrate their own projects, such as power points and media player to the class using this projector. This projector would make a world of difference in my classroom for me and my students.

Your donation would allow for all of my students to see demonstrations and activities all at once. There would be no more valuable educational time spent repeating demonstrations and activities. Your donation would also allow my students to give presentations and demonstrations themselves to the class. My students are the best students in the world and I want to give them the best I can.
