My students need 4 place value hands-on games, 3 time games, 2 geometry games, and one graphing center activity.

My second graders get small group math instruction every day! This valuable small group time can be enhanced with hands on math games and learning centers.

My school is classified as "high poverty" and we don't have the quality and quantity of math games to engage and teach our 21st century learners. My students enjoy daily math groups, especially when they're able to play hands on games with their peers. We need games that reinforce the concepts of place value, telling time, geography, and graphing.

The resources I need are games to teach, practice, and review essential second grade math skills: place value, telling time, geometry, and graphing. The games/hands-on activities I chose will empower students to practice independently, in partners, or in small groups. These games are colorful, tactile, engaging, and challenging--just like my students!
