Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach awesome second graders at an amazing school. The entire staff works very hard to maintain high educational standards and earn our high test scores. We encourage all students to think of themselves as college bound scholars.

Almost all of the students in my class are English language learners. Many come from families with low incomes who cannot afford home computers. Some see and use laptops for the first time when they enter second grade.

With these small, yet amazing notebook computers, students will have the opportunity to spend more time to access the online programs our site uses to enhance and support our math and language arts programs.

With your support the children will be able to learn basic computer skills on cool laptops while building self confidence, and mastering their understanding of mathematical concepts as well as reading comprehension skills.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
