Mozart Move Over!

My Kindergarten students need one double sided art easel with a drying rack for creating their own pictures when we are studying artist from story books.

I teach Kindergarten with 22 students. Half of my class is raised by Grandparents and do not have a parent raising them. Supplies are limited because most grandparents are on social security and do not send in what is needed.

We do not have many supplies since Katrina hit. I as a teacher have provided most of the supplies for my children. When going on a field trip I have only one grandparent volunteer to chaperon so even this is difficult for me to do.

Children need to let their creative outlet pour out in the younger as well as older years. An art easel will give us a great place to paint and to let them dry without taking up all the shelf space in the window. At the moment, we have to use tables to paint on and with five year olds it is hard for them to create beautiful pictures in this fashion and then we lay them in the window to dry. An art easel with a drying rack would help to make and foster creativity in the children.

You will make it possible for my student to have a creative outlet that most do not get in their home environment and with little supplies at school it is difficult for me to provide.
