My students need glove puppets, story telling kits, and story telling lapboards to aid comprehension.

I am so blessed to teach at an awesome elementary school where there is a "school family" atmosphere. There is something great about each and every child in my classroom. You would be blown away by their intelligence, humor, and love for life.

I run learning stations 4 days per week. The children have hands on, active learning in math, language arts, science, and social studies while I teach small, guided reading groups. I want to make sure that I have fun and engaging activities that help them internalize may of the skills that I am teaching.

Comprehension is key in reading. I am requesting some wonderful puppets and story telling kits to use with books that I have available. The kits have story characters that can be used along with the story mitts and story flannel boards that I have also requested. Once the children hear the stories read aloud from the books, they can use these fantastic sets to retell the story and work on sequencing and comprehension skills. These kits also will help build self esteem for the children who are actively role playing with others.

Please help us bring our stories to life. The children will enjoy countless hours of fun while learning, thanks to your kind heart. Thank you for playing such an important role in the education of my students.
