I teach a full day Kindergarten program in a high need community. I have 27 students, some with special needs in my classroom.

Who says you can't learn from watching television! We can! My students enjoy watching educational videos, such as the ones created by Leap Frog. Through these types of videos my students have strengthened Thier literacy and math skills. They sing along, act out and actively participate as they watch and learn. And in these high tech times, my students are motivated to learn through technology, including T.V. However, our current television has seen better days and we count ourselves lucky on the days it works!

My students need a new television so that they can begin to enjoy their learning videos again. I even have several learning games that my students haven't been able to play since our current T.V. has not been working.

Your donation will make it possible for my students to have the opportunity to learn literacy and math skills through technological support. Knowing that many of my students learn through technology your donation will support their academic abilities and progress
