Cutting Edge Knowledge Needed! In today's society students need to be able to step up to the plate in order to remain competitive in the world as they become adults. My sixth graders need new technology to stay ahead of the curve. I would love to involve my students further into the world of film production.

What do you do when you do not have sufficient technology? We have already begun to use video technology in the classroom but supplies are limited at my school. I have resorted to using my own personal equipment. My students deserve their own equipment, available as they need it.

My students need a digital video camcorder, mini DV tapes, a bag for media storage, and a tripod for steady shooting,and carrying case to protect their equipment. This project will benefit my students now and those students of the future as we can continue video production as part of the overall instructional plan.

You can make it happen! You can help these students become film makers and in turn become knowledgeable users of technology as well as masters of their curriculum. This will benefit not only their futures but ours too.
