My students need a set of Big Book Favorites and 7 other kindergarten level big books.

We need big books for big readers. I teach kindergarten to a class of limited English speakers.

We need big books for shared reading. Shared reading is very important in kindergarten. We model good reading strategies and behavior for our new "big" readers. It is difficult to do without a large copy of a book.

Receiving these big books will help improve our shared reading time, enabling everyone to see and participate at the same time. The books will be used for years to come.

Your support will make it possible for the entire class to be involved and actively engaged in the shared reading of a book.
