We need a new twist on Shakespeare! As a ninth grade English teacher with a large portion of special education inclusion students, we need a new way to look at a classic.

While my students love the themes in Romeo and Juliet, the language is difficult. My students are apprehensive and need a great new and modern way to look at Romeo and Juliet. They need to know that they have the ability to read Shakespeare, and to understand the difficult and sometimes confusing language of Elizabethan England.

No Fear Shakespeare offers the original language side by side with a modern English translation. It will allow each of my students to access Shakespeare on their own level, and keep them from feeling the apprehension that first time readers of Shakespeare sometimes feel.
