My students need Connect-A-Sound Matching Boards, a game called Sight-Word Soup, a mail box, classroom post office, and a letter writing supply kit to perform and enjoy letter writing activities.

My classroom is an Academic VE classroom with students who vary in their disabilities and are grade levels K-5. These students are pressed to make as close to the same gains academically as in any Gen. Ed. room, and boy are they ever!!!! On a average monthly reading and math growths are between 3-14% per student, per subject area.

My Kindergarten kids are in need of games which promote kinesthetic learning in relation to site words and phonemics. My entire class would benefit from an activity which excites them, as a mailbox would and encourages better handwriting and letter writing skills.

A mailbox and post office would excite the students enough that the rules of proper letter writing would be worth the strenuous effort many must make. The site word game would help in a fun way for my k.-2 grade kids to recognize and spell their site words. The letter sound matching board would be another way to bring excitement and fun into learning and matching those sounds.

Your donation of these supplies will help bring fun learning into the classroom. These students and other classrooms like mine are often forgot about and because of such we don't always have current materials, etc. for our students. This is where you can help to make a difference.
