Permanent Projector Mount with a Purpose

My students need a ceiling mount for our class LCD projector so that it can be quickly and permanently available to use, yet safely out of the way!

Lackluster learning or Mind-stirring study? The first grade students in my class prefer the latter, hands down!

One of the ways I provide the thought provoking experiences my first graders seek is to use our LCD projector to allow the whole class to experience the mass of information found on the world wide web as it correlates to our lessons. We've seen the cave paintings at Lascaux in France, visited the Egyptian tombs, created mathematical patterns with virtual manipulative's and explored our planet on Google earth. So what is the problem? We want to experience more! Much of the time our LCD projector is packed safely away so no one bumps it or trips over the cords. In short, we don't use our projector enough to fill our minds with knowledge and answer our many questions. It is time consuming to get out and set up, yet a hazard when left out all the time.

The solution is simple. We want to mount our LCD to the ceiling so we can have constant access to it. And what a difference a ceiling mount will make!

First graders will be able to more readily open their eyes to the world around them and access the information that is already at their fingertips simply because our projector will always be available and ready to use in a safe, out of the way place.
