I am a teacher of Special Education serving students with autism ages 15-20. We are in a workstudy program which provides our students an opportunity to explore jobs with the possibility of employment after graduation. We are in need of a digital camera to help us record our daily accomplishments and activities at the worksite and in the classroom. We would use the camera to create photo albums and posters to send home to parents and use in literacy fairs. We would also use the pictures to provide a visual aid to show what a necessary stepping stone our program is for our students to succeed in the transition from school to work. My students are very proud of their accomplishments. I would like to share their proud faces with their parents, our other teachers and students and most of all , our surrounding community which they will soon be part of.
