Our middle school with two jazz bands of 60 students need a quality piano to make their jazz band complete.

In a time of economic crisis this middle school is still able to maintain not one, but two jazz bands which include about 60 students. We've gotten by on two very old mediocre keyboards that aren't standard size. Over the past couple of years both have broken due to general wear and tear. We've pieced one together that usually works, but it still has a couple of broken keys. We'd like to get a full-sized keyboard that isn't embarrassing to play for performances. Our jazz bands compete and do very well at contests throughout the year. They have brought home numerous awards and honors. They also play for numerous functions at school including home basketball games. We are very proud of our jazz bands, but need a piano that is a piano not a cheap keyboard that breaks. We want the students to be proud of the instruments they play and can allow them to be successful. That is very difficult when the keyboard keeps falling apart. We often spend time in class trying to repair it rather than playing.

Our solution would be to get a quality digital piano that looks and sounds nice to give students the pride they need to play well and be successful.

In our 2 jazz bands we have 3 excellent piano players. Many times they have to take time out to fix the keyboard rather than playing. Rather than buying another cheap keyboard that isn't standard size or quality. We would like them to be able to play a digital piano that would give them great pride to play and take care of as well as make them successful.
