Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach 5th grade math and science at an urban elementary school. We have students from many different cultures who would deeply benefit from more technology in the classroom.

Our students are technology natives and teachers today must adapt their teaching to fit their technological minds. Our classrooms need to be filled with instant use technology, such as this digital camera.

Having this camera and memory cards will allow us to creatively design powerpoints, slideshows, and videos that they are actually in. Their engagement will increase resulting in an increase in their learning.

You will make this classroom a 21st century classroom. These kids need your help to learn skills that will help them to get to college and beyond in our world today.
