Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach 4th grade at a technology magnet elementary school. I use many technology devices to enhance my students learning.

We have some really cool devices called responders, but the batteries are running out so we are unable to use the technology we have.

Batteries will allow my students to use the technology in the classroom. When students use technology to learn, they retain more information and are more engaged in the lesson.

Batteries may not seem like an exciting purchase or as important to the learning environment of our classroom, but in our modern world, and technology driven curriculum- batteries are essential.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
