I teach in a small, rural school that does not have some of the class options that a larger school may have. My music students are in grades six through eight and very excited about learning music through playing guitar.

We have been accepting donations of guitars for our guitar lab. So far we have secured 3 guitars for this purpose. We hope to eventually have about 15 to 20 guitars. Our middle school music classes are usually made up of about 25-35 students.

We are building the guitar lab one guitar at a time. Each guitar gives the student who plays it an opportunity to develop a life long interest in music. By learning guitar each student will also open an avenue of self-expression and creativity that will help them become more self and community aware.

By donating this guitar you will make it possible for my students to add creativity to any knowledge that they learn as they develop into adults. Creativity is an asset that will be in great demand as our country forges ahead into the twenty-first century.
