Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

In our public school Montessori classrooms, we have wonderful, eager children who love to soak up knowledge and experiences as fast as we can provide them. Our children come from a low socioeconomic area with many of them living close to the poverty level. Our vibrant, experiential style of learning with the Montessori method helps our students see possibilities in the world that they otherwise would not see. Taking a trip to see the marvelous wonders of the King Tut exhibit would be a dream come true! What a fabulous springboard into culture, history, art, writing....the list goes on and on with the limitless educational directions we will travel before and after our trip. The Montessori method strives to provide hands on, real life experiences in every curricular area possible to give students a strong foundation to build knowledge and critical thinking skills. By allowing our primary students (grades one, two, and three)to attend this world famous historic display, you will be giving them an experience that will be memorable and enriching. You will be the catalyst for classroom learning and help foster the love for learning and a thirst for knowledge that all children need to become life-long learners. By providing our students with tickets to attend the King Tut exhibit, you will be giving them an opportunity that they would not otherwise have. Thank you in advance for your generous gift.
