I teach third grade in a low income area. My school is not qualified for Title I funding, so we are really low on resources. We have over 750 students in our school, and supplies are spread thin.

My third graders are getting to the point where they are reading books at a tremendous pace. The problem is, they are still only reading thin picture type books. They burn through them fast, and need to step up to a more challenging type of text. The Magic Tree House books are so popular and they are hard to get a hold of in the library! The students love to read them, but can't ever get their hands of them!

What I am asking for is 5 sets of the first 10 books in the Magic Tree House series. This will enable me to introduce chapter books to the students in a group setting, and they can build their confidence with reading chapter books together!

You will make it possible for my students to upgrade their reading levels and the type of text that they read. You will open the door to a new world of reading where the students will go on countless adventures with Jack and Annie!
