I am a K-2 special education teacher in a Focus school in North Carolina. Our school is located in a high-need community.

Because we are a Focus school, our students and their families do not have the finances to provide their children with the exposure to different hobbies and activities. Our students are very excited about the new clubs that we will be having at our school. I will be introducing 20 students to the joy and reward of scrapbooking. Most of them have never heard of scrapbooking before.

I will need scissors, glue dots, and paper cutters to help with our activities. Our hope for our students is to provide fun, a way to relieve stress, support learning, build self-confidence, and improve grades.

With your help, my students will be exposed to a craft and hobby that will preserve wonderful memories of their families and friends that will last a lifetime. Please help me give them a chance to enjoy their new club!
