My students band together to create an awesome sound. I am a band director who teaches the beginners in fifth grade all the way through to the seniors in high school band. I also teach the Jazz Band which is a young and fairly new group in this rural, low-income school in Oklahoma.

We like to swing, shuffle, and rock each day, but without amplification, we cannot find the way. Our amp is passing on to the great amp heaven in the sky, but we are left here to play on and on with tears in our eyes.

The Jazz Band is in need of an amplifier and cart (due to an amp's extreme weight)in order to perform with our complete sound at high school basketball games, concerts, and competitions. Without an amplifier, the group does not have the proper sound. With the amplification of our rhythm section, the Jazz Band will be able to pump up the fans in the stands, perform successfully at our hometown concerts, and compete more successfully at various competitions.

With your help, the Jazz Band will be able to swing, shuffle, rock, and rumba its way through each rehearsal and performance. It is only through your generosity that the students will be able to create music with a complete sound.
