Real life pictures will bring "life" to student projects. That is the goal of my proposed project. I teach 7th and 8th grade exploratory computer class. In 7th grade my students learn about PowerPoint. They do several PowerPoint presentations. In 8th grade my students learn about advanced word processing features and podcasting.

Currently we don't have our own digital cameras in our classroom. There are so many projects that we could do if we had our own cameras to take the photos with. Some of the ideas that I have for projects are: a school PowerPoint that highlights the school, school podcasts, interview books, memory books, and children storybooks.

We could use 5 digital cameras. There are five rows in my classroom. It would be nice if each row had their own camera to use for projects. The cameras will be used for a variety of projects in my classroom.

By sponsoring my project you will allow my students to experience digital photography first hand. The students will learn several ways to incorporate their digital photographs into their personalized projects. Some of the projects the students will be able to create are PowerPoints and podcasts.
