My students need a class set (30 copies) of "Sciencesaurus - A Student Handbook" to enhance their understanding of science concepts, increase their reading comprehension skills, and provide them with opportunities to practice the writing skills taught in their Language Arts classes.

My students are in 6th and 7th grade. We have Science textbooks that were published in 2003. We need updated reference materials that will assist us in mastering our objectives.

My students need the opportunity to use reference books to provide them with research skills and more up-to-date information. This book also has websites listed for each topic. The students can use our school computer lab to further investigate these teacher approved sites.

This project will provide my students with Science Handbooks that will be used as reference books as we research topics such as space, matter, and environmental concerns.
