My kids have low reading skills, but they love great literature! I need books that are on their levels and are interesting to them.

We are a new school and do have great literature that we can use in small groups. The students learn more in a small group setting.

The students will use these books in small groups. We read and discuss the information and then students are encouraged to think about what they are reading. This allows students to picture what they are reading. These images help students to evaluate and summarize what they read. We also make predictions as we are reading. These are very important reading strategies. As many of my students do not have experiences that expose them to the world, the books I have selected show different cultures, ethnicities, and authors' viewpoints.

Your help will enable my students to have books that interest them and engage them in what they read. This helps students improve their reading comprehension and fluency skills.
