My students need a poster, two globes, and a Trippensee Lighted Elementary Planetarium Model to learn about the sun, moon and stars.

I teach third grade in the same community where I attended school. I have just completed my student teaching and have taken over the classroom.

I love space and I attended Space Camp as a child. I plan on bringing that experience to my third grade classroom as I teach about the sun, moon and stars.

In order to make my camp a success I would like to have a 3-D globe of the moon. This would allow them to see the moon in a way books cannot show them. The planetarium and poster would be a great addition also. I am going to tie in the stars/constellations in our reading unit about Greek Mythology and would love to have a globe for that as well. (We study globes and maps in 3rd grade social studies!)
