Sea What We Can Do!

My students need 7 kits with hands on materials related to sea life to allow them to explore sea creatures and learn about their habitat.

"Sea" what we can do with your help! I teach Kindergarten in a tight knit community.

Every year, my students seem to show interest in the ocean and its creatures. However, we do not have the funding to buy extra materials to teach lessons about this interest. I would love to see their faces light up when they are able to touch and use these materials to help them learn. Many of the students are scared of these animals. I want to teach them how fascinating these creatures are and how they are not scary at all!

Many of my students do not get to take trips to the shoreline where they can view these animals on their own. My students are in need of hands on materials to help them learn. These specimens of sea animals will help them examine each and every one. These hands on kits about the ocean will help the children learn about the ocean environment, what the animals need to live and explore he habitat in a developmentally appropriate manner. It will also use the ocean to help them learn in many curricula such as math, language arts, and science.

Your help will make it possible for my students to learn that the ocean is a fascinating place and that the inhabitants of the sea are not scary at all. Please encourage their curiosity about this wonderful place on our earth!
