Hello, I teach several different computer classes to high school students. We are in a low-income community at the top of Mississippi.
There are not enough TVs to share among the whole school. In fact there is only one to share among a hall. When you want to show your students an educational movie, have the students watch the PowerPoint presentations they created, or take notes from a teacher created with PowerPoint, there is usually not a TV available.
We need a way to see our PowerPoints all the time. Not only do students need to be able to watch their PowerPoints, but the students need to take notes from the teacher created using PowerPoint. I also use a PowerPoint at open house to show parents what my classes will be doing throughout the semester.
If we are able to receive a TV and a cart we can look at PowerPoints and Desktop Publishing activities anytime we need to. Students will also be able to watch educational videos and movies.
Please help our classroom keep up with the changing trends of life so we may be able to continue to learn and grow.
