I teach math, reading, social studies, and writing to middle school students at an inner-city school. Although this is a public school, I teach some of the brightest and most outgoing students you will ever meet.

My students are growing up in a world where technology is the key to a good life. From finding a job, to communication with loved ones, to sharing ideas, technology is now a daily need for surviving in this world.

By having a LCD projector in the classroom, students will be able to share their presentations, learn how to use the internet in research and sharing ideas, and gain an understanding of how technology can further their education with the guidance of their teachers. Not only will they grow in understanding, but they will also be able to learn how to be safe on the internet to avoid becoming a victim in a less-supervised environment.

You can be a part of helping my students to learn the dangers and advantages of having a world that relies on technology. Not only will your donation help this class of students, but children who come through this classroom for years will know of your kindness and generosity. Please, help me to give inner-city children the learning that will not come from the district.
