My students want interesting books to read! As their teacher it is my duty to do all that I can to make this goal achievable for my students. I am a fifth grade teacher of language arts and social studies. The school I teach at is very close to being a title I school however we do not receive funding at the present. I believe every child needs exposure to as many books as possible to help them become lifelong readers.

The rationale for this project is that I need more nonfiction and fiction books in my classroom library. At the present I have a limited selection of books on various genres that interest my students. I believe that my students could greatly benefit academically if our classroom library was enhanced with books that would spark their interests.

I need nonfiction and fiction books on various genres to lure my students to read. The purpose of this project is to involve all of my students in a club that will motivate them to enjoy reading books of their choice. I will do this by incorporating a "Book Club" into my daily curriculum. The goal of this project is to provide a vast array of literature to my students at their levels to promote literacy. Students will be able to share the book they read in their group every week. The only stipulation is that they can't tell the ending of their book they read. I want to raise the curiousity of m
