I currently teach special education in an Illinois public school. My students come from a high-need community.

My classroom currently has one small Macintosh computer. My students have shown great interest in PowerPoint presentations, but is very difficult to gather my 13 students around one computer.

My students have learning disabilities and learn visually. With a notebook computer, I would be able to create PowerPoints to display on the screen using an LCD projector. This type of instruction will benefit all of my students by giving them all an opportunity to view and participate in the learning process.

You will make it possible for my students to learn in a fun and exciting way. What better way to demonstrate math problems than a colorful presentation to capture the interest of the students.
