I am an Internal suspension teacher in an inner city low income school. My position is to keep suspended students in a classroom and teach them their daily lessons with a counseling approach. I also operate a behavior incentive club called the Care Bear Kids Club. This club is for behaviorally improved students. Students work hard to be invited to the club through their improved behavior. In the club we provide kids with fun and exciting projects and lots of fun.

Kids had the idea that if we had a digital camera we could create school bulletin boards that showcased the kids club students and their fun experiences in the club.We think kids would be visually encouraged to strive to be in our positive behavior club. Students also are excited to use the camera to create projects such as photo frames of their friends, gifts for their parents, friends collages etc.

We are asking for a digital camera that would be a great way to showcase positive behavior of children and provide a visual showcase to inspire other kids to use positive behavior and good choices.

Your help will greatly enhance our positive behavior club by creating a visual incentive for other students and provide a resourse to make exciting projects with a great technological experience. We have many students in suspension, and positive excitement can help change the direction of students making poor choices. Positive behavior and good choices should be rewarded, and the camera would help tremendously!
