I am a sixth grade Language Arts teacher with a population of caring and concerned students.

With teaching students that we must all do our part in saving the environment, I think that using white boards and chart paper will give them a clear example of what we can do daily to help.

White boards can be used in review of skills, pre-reading activities, and games to write down answers, thoughts and ideas. The chart paper is essential in teaching children the importance of cooperative learning and working as a team on assignments. Chart paper like white boards minimizes the use of a lot of paper.

Global warming is an issue that is relevant to our students through the news but becoming an active citizen in being proactive instead of reactive provides them a clear example of what they do now to help our Earth in the future.
