Help Young Expressionists Express Themselves

My students need basic art supplies, such as assorted colored construction paper, paint, brushes, oil pastels and a paper cutter.

Give young artists the tools they need. I am a 2nd grade teacher in Illinois. I teach many high-need students.

I am working to teach struggling readers how to read. Many of my students do not find reading to be a desirable hobby. I have found that my students love art and are very artistic. As a certified elementary teacher as well as a certified art teacher, I have decided to link art to reading in order to teach my students.

I need construction paper of all colors, paint and paint brushes and other assorted art supplies. We will use these supplies to create storyboards, character profiles, three dimensional designs, picture-word flash cards and many other art related reading projects.

Your help will ensure that my little artists fine tune their skills while learning to read!
