Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach 18 four-year old preschoolers in an impoverished neighborhood of an urban environment.

The dramatic play center in our classroom has two baby dolls and no place for them to eat or rest! The children love to spend time in the dramatic play center. Through this pretend play, the children develop social skills as well as vocabulary.

We have two baby dolls in our center but no place for the dolls to sit while the children 'feed" them and no place to "rest" when it is nap time. The furniture, a doll crib, a high chair, and a bedding set, would add to the creativity the children express when play in this center.

Unfortunately, our budget does not allow for us to provide a high chair and crib. With your help, we can provide this furniture and help the children to grow developmentally.
