My students need 14 engaging and fun resources such as puzzles and magnetic letters for literacy centers.

I am a recent college graduate with a class of 20 enthusiastic kindergarten students. My students love engaging in active learning. For many of them literacy centers are the highlight of their day.

Unfortunately, school resources are limited due to budget cuts. Since I am in my first year of teaching, I don’t have many literacy activities students can engage in during literacy center time. I believe my students deserve to have access to the same materials as other students which is why I’m hoping to get enough donations to fulfill my request.

My students will use literacy center resources where they can work independently and cooperatively with their classmates. These centers are focused on building students’ literacy skills. Students will use these centers each day so these materials will be very beneficial to our daily routine.

I have selected a variety of center materials that are both fun and educational. I believe that busy hands mean busy minds! Please help me make it possible for my students to build a strong foundation in reading which will better their futures.
