I teach Advanced Mathematics and Algebra to 7th and 8th grade students. Our enrollment is around 150, with a 20% special education rate.

These students attend a school in a small rural community with little, or no, technological support for educational opportunities, and funding is difficult.

The current curriculum calls for need of Graphing Calculators for various lessons, concepts and projects throughout the entire year. Our students will be able to graph multi-step linear equations, using tables and data collection; solve and illustrate quadratic equations both algebraically and graphically; be able to fully understand functions f(x), and be able to identify relationships between two different variables and equations graphically.

Your help will make it possible for our students to be able to increase their level of understanding of mathematics using simple technology. You will definitely make a difference in their education.
