My students need tickets to attend a live theatre presentation at the Center for the Performing Arts titled Harry the Dirty Dog.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our second grade class consists of 60 low income children. We are a diverse student body with children of all ethnic and racial backgrounds. We are located in a major metropolitan area.
The children have never been to a live theater production. We are beginning to do Readers Theater and I believe that a trip to a live performance would inspire these young people.
My students need tickets to attend the theater, however; the cost is very high for our parents and many cannot afford this trip. It is our hope that if we can provide the tickets through your generosity, the parents and school could cover the cost of the bus. Making this an affordable trip.
Your support of this project would allow these second grade children to experience live theater and inspire them to become actors in their own right.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
