I teach an amazing group of tenth grade inclusion special education students in a high-need school district.

My students are studying American literature and have a need for two maps. My students are constantly asking me where different authors come from and what area of the world each author is influenced by.

I need two maps, one of the World and one of the United States. Students need to embrace the background of the literature, the time period in which it is written and the geographic location that each author derives from in order to fully understand the literature.

These students never get a break in life. They come from a high-need community. These students deserve all the amenities that other districts are able to provide. You can make it possible to raise the bar and have my students achieve more than they could imagine.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
