Our Crocodiles are Craving Critters. In a school with a wonderful diverse population, extras like classroom animals are not an option. With over 50% of our students receiving free lunch, monies are not readily available for extras.

We would love to turn our 6th grade science room into an exotic ecosystem full of fish, frogs, lizards, turtles, and excitement. After watching a short video on the Amazon Rainforest, the students were all a buzz about how cool it would be to visit there.

That gave me an idea...if I paste photos all over the room, bring in beautiful plants, play waterfall music in the background, and have critters in aquariums, students could actually visit the rainforest without leaving the school.

PLEASE help us bring the beautiful rainforests of the Amazon to our little school in the suburbs. Imagine their surprise when they enter a new world created just for them. Thank you so much for making this happen.
