Hello, and welcome to Kindergarten. This is where a life long love of learning begins! Kindergarten teachers hope to inspire and develop young children's ideas and strengths through games, songs, and hands on experiences. I live in a high need community and my school is a Title 1 school.

Kindergarten students love to explore new and exciting materials. However, math materials are very expensive and teachers must purchase their classroom supplies first. This leaves very little state funded money for interesting materials and games. Young children love hands on activities such as puzzles and counting supplies. These activities engage their minds as well as their bodies by allowing them to move around the room, lay on the floor, and work cooperatively in groups.

I can't wait to see the look on my student's faces when they see the exciting new floor puzzles and interesting math counters. My children deserve to experience an exciting education that includes quality classroom materials.

Your generous donation will make a difference by ensuring that my students gain knowledge through exciting games and materials. We all remember that one teacher who did everything in their power to try and make learning a fun and meaningful experience.
