I Can Hear Myself!!!

My students need 30 ear to mouth tubes (they look like phones) which allow them to hear themselves read. This allows them to learn to read with fluency.

I teach all subjects to 3rd graders in Tennessee. We are a low income, Title I school. In the past few years, we have seen a huge need to improve reading fluency, comprehension, and phonics development.

Due to the fact that school funds are limited, we try to get as many items as possible through donations, fundraisers, and parent assistance. One of the things that we need are phones in which the students are able to hear themselves read. At this age, fluency can often be a problem.

The students would really enjoy these phones, and are surprised when they hear themselves speak through the phone. They will be able to hear themselves and identify fluency problems.

You can make it possible for third grade students to speak fluently! These are an "extra" item which we would not be able to purchase without your assistance. Thank you so much for considering student's needs.
