Let’s the center rotation begin! Yes! It's time to have fun and learn. I teach third graders, and they love to learn using center activities. Centers are part of our daily rotation and include all subject areas. I love using centers because my students are able to apply the basic knowledge already gained during regular classroom instruction.

It is sometimes difficult to keep my students’ attention for very long. They are exposed to so many fast-paced activities and want school to be the same way. Centers compensate for their need to move around, talk, and explain their actions.

Centers are the heart of my classroom. I am requesting a Math Activities Center and a Social Studies Center. I use whole group instruction for introduction and review. Centers are the "action" part of our day. Centers allow them to experiment, learn new things, and share with their classmates.

For some students, these are the only group related and team building activities they are exposed to during the day. The centers teach so much more than the course objective. They help them learn how to interact with others to meet a goal. You will make it possible for my students to experience learning in a fun, enjoyable, and entertaining atmosphere. It will give the students a chance to experiment with the subject, instead of just reading about it or completing a worksheet.
