Our scholars will learn more about core academics by creating them in a sculpture! We are a charter school serving kindergarten through second grade. Art is taught to help them learn more about their core subjects.

All our young scholars' Art projects are designed to further their understanding of Science, History, Geography, Mathematics and Language Arts. While drawing and painting are great for helping them learn, sculptural works can help them learn even more about their core subjects.

We need air dry clay so our students can benefit from the sculptural aspects of Art. By using clay in our co-curricular lessons we’ll be able to help them create their own pyramids when learning about the ancient Egyptians, a topographic map for Geography, a volcano for Science, beads for counting and pattern making in Mathematics and a 3-D scene from a story they're studying.

Your donation will make it possible for our students to learn in a tactical and enriching way. By being able to create what they are learning about they'll be more likely to remember their core subject lessons and be able to apply them in a broader context.
