Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

All of our students are new to the country and are learning English. Music is a time when they can do instead of speak. At the same time it motivates the students to use English to understand how to make the music sound better. With your help all their hard work will be heard.

We have some very cheap saxophones that play out of tune and break all the time. Yamaha makes the world's best student saxophones and it would really help our intonation to get a few good student horns.

With your help our jazz, merengue, and band programs could sound a whole lot better. Our students love the saxophone and as a saxophone teacher, I love good saxophones.
