My students need a projector for the classroom. The county I teach in provides all teachers and students with ibook computers. I teach middle school Spanish (6-8) and the textbook we use is available online. There are various activities and programs that can be used on their personal computers, however there is no way to project it in front of them so that every one can follow along with me. I would also like for them to be able to view online videos that our school has subscriptions for that they cannot access themselves. My school has 2 projectors available but with 50 staff members it gets difficult to check out. My students do not have a lot, our PTA has very low enrollment and the school in general does not have a lot of money laying around. Visual stimulation greatly enhances their education. It would genuinely help the students to be able to see me do a task, and then be able to follow it step by step, as well as supplement their education with online resources and peer sharing.
