This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I'm a kindergarten ESL teacher, and my classroom space is very small. As a result, I don't have a white board for instruction. I do have a small magnetic white board, but I don't have anything to hold it up, so I'm constantly holding it while I write and give instruction to my students.

With such a small space, I need to be creative with how I provide instruction to my students, especially as we begin learning how to read and write letters, as well as blend letters to form words and small sentences.

My students need an easel for the large magnetic whiteboard that I use for daily instruction, as well as some packs of lined chart paper, which will also help with instruction.

Your generosity will ensure that my students learn all their letters, and also help my students and I maximize what little space we have!
