Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I tache 4th grade, all subjects in a mostly ELL school. My students major need is vocabulary and language. One way gain language is through writing which includes drawing and sketching.

One thing I want my students to focus on is becoming more productive writers. I want the students to want to write, not have the mindframe of "oh I have to write again". I want writing to be looked forward to .

Making writing fun needs to have appropriate supplies. Paper, pens, staplers and tape will allow my students to create obvious and not so obvious papers, books, letters and other writing. They will have fun creating whatever they want. They will be given the freedom with the resources to create. Just create and not worry about the materials they need. Writing freedom.

Please set my students free. Free them from the ties that hold them down. Unclip their wings and give them the chance to write as only they can.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
