My kindergarteners need three snacks, bottled water, and drinking cups.

These little ones need some yummies in their tummies! I teach Kindergarten in a high poverty area school, where there is a ban on drinking water because some has tested positive for lead.

My kindergarteners have their lunch at 10:30 in the morning, but the school day doesn't end until 2:40. That is a long time for their bellies to be empty! Because it is a high poverty area, most of these children have a free or reduced lunch. They can't afford to send a snack! Not only this, but the city schools aren't allowed to use the drinking water in the fountains because some tested positive for lead.

I am asking for snacks for my kindergarteners, and for bottles of water and glasses. Providing these children enough to eat helps them keep their energy throughout the day.

I don't mind buying the class fruit or veggies as snacks every once in a while, but I can't afford to do it all the time. Please help provide snacks and healthy water for my kids!
