I am a reading teacher that services third grade. My school is a Title One school which is located in New York. I touch the lives of approximately 125 students per week, although I concentrate on the struggling readers.

I would like to excite and motivate my students through technology, specifically an Apple Computer. Projects that require creative graphics, simply cry out for an Apple. Imagine a computer that can help an eight year old write and illustrate their own books. Plus, students are taught using Apple computers, so they have a solid working knowledge of that computer.

The Apple Computer that would greatly benefit my students is one where the screen is large, so all students can view their fellow students' work. I would need a computer that can do many tricks, including slide shows and creating charts. The Apple Computer is built to withstand the use of many little hands, therefore I will not have to call help desks all the time to repair the computer.

Please make it possible for my awesome and creative students to become tech savvy. The Apple computer will achieve this goal as well as make a small group of kids in the city extremely happy.
